Uncover HIS-Story
Born in Wichita, KS, and raised as a military child, Aaron Island is the epitome of change, diversity, and adaptation. Moving all over the world—from Japan to Italy—his journey continuously cultivated his ability to navigate different cultures and adversity. From the age of six, he was always involved in sports and fitness, actively participating in basketball, football, and boxing. As Aaron got older, he found refuge in the gym. The gym became such a prominent part of his life that he soon became well-known for his level of fitness, which gradually transformed into his identity.
Although he was actively involved, through continuous self-training, he realized he needed a push to reach higher heights in his fitness career: to be educated, to become more self-aware, to be elite. One day, during a routine workout, he was approached by a stranger who asked if he had ever “thought about personal training.” This interaction sparked a fire within him, helping him recognize his purpose in life: to set an example of hard work and dedication. To be a motivator, helping others improve their lifestyle and health through fitness.
Consequently, while pursuing a degree in Engineering, he decided to take a step further by getting his Personal Training certification to solidify his dedication to his vision and dreams. Achieving this certification created a breakthrough that opened the door to numerous opportunities in health and fitness. He became a coach at Orangetheory Fitness, coaching classes ranging from 1 to 30+ people, manifesting who he believed he was called to be: to teach, to motivate, to learn.
In pursuit of becoming an elite trainer, he decided to take his talent even further—to the professional stage—and established goals that would lead him to the highest levels of competition, while gradually learning from elite athletes and coaches featured in professional sports and fitness magazines. In his first natural bodybuilding show, he received first place in his debut, further cementing his legacy and belief that he is exactly where he needs to be in life.
Through his journey and experience, he wants to be a testimony and blueprint for how to manifest your dreams into reality and create the change you want through positive, intentional decisions and work ethic.
His dream is to own multiple gyms across the world, fostering a culture that focuses on health, fitness, fellowship, and turning dreams into visions and reality.
